Shipping policy

1. Production & Processing Times

Because many of our items are personalized, custom-made, or hand-finished, they require a production lead time before they can be dispatched.

  • Standard Processing Time: 1 to 3 business days.

  • Orders are processed Monday through Friday. Orders placed over the weekend or during UK public bank holidays will begin production on the following business day.

Please Note: Processing/production time is the time it takes to prepare your order before it is handed over to the courier. It is completely separate from the transit/delivery time.

2. Shipping Methods, Rates & Delivery Estimates

We ship all domestic orders via tracked postal services to ensure secure delivery. You can choose your preferred delivery speed at checkout:

Express Tracked 24 (Upgrade Option) Base Rate + £1.25 1 to 2 business days after dispatch

Total Delivery Timeline = Production Time (1-3 Days) + Courier Delivery Time

3. Shipment Tracking & Confirmation

As soon as your order has been crafted, packaged, and dispatched, you will receive a Shipment Confirmation email containing your tracking number and a direct link to follow your parcel's journey. Tracking statuses usually become active within 24 hours of courier pickup.

4. Delivery Addresses & Re-routing

Please double-check your shipping address during checkout. We are unable to change the delivery address once production has concluded and the shipping label has been generated. Black Oak Farm Shop is not responsible for non-delivery or lost items due to incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the buyer.

5. Delays, Damaged, or Missing Parcels

  • Courier Delays: While couriers hit their targets in the vast majority of cases, delivery windows are estimates and transit times may occasionally fluctuate due to seasonal high volumes or severe weather.

  • Damaged Shipments: If you receive your order damaged, please save all packaging materials and damaged goods, and contact us immediately with photos so we can file a claim and arrange a replacement for you.

  • Missing Parcels: If your tracking shows "Delivered" but you cannot locate your parcel, please check safe places, verify with neighbors, or contact the local delivery depot before reaching out to customer support.
